NMRCL invites Applications for Bidding on Nine Stations of Nagpur Metro NS Line

The Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. has at last welcomed offers from Infrastructure /development organizations to build 7 elevated and 2 at-evaluation stations on the 12.11 km Khapri – Congress Nagar ‘Achieve 1’ segment of Nagpur Metro’s 19.658 km north-south line! In November 2015, the NMRCL had recompensed L&T Infrastructure Engineering and Rajendra Associates the agreement for the itemized outline consultancy of these stations.

  • At-Grade: Khapri, New Airport
  • Elevated: Airport, Ujwal Nagar, Jai Prakash Nagar, Chatrapati Nagar, Ajni Square, Rahate Colony and Congress Nagar

    Hii..I’m writing this comment just to give some suggestions to make Nagpur metro not only feasible nd economical but also more beautiful to look upon. I have seen major of the metro stations in India very old fashioned nd boring especially the elevated stations…they just have a platform with a semi circular tin roof. And recently I saw the elevated stations of Dubai metro nd the were just so stunning and beautiful….with great lighting at night….similar stations can be made for Nagpur metro stations that can definitely give it a stunning look nd make it one of its kind in the whole of India..i don’t want my city’s metro to have boring architecture…..I want my metro to be beautiful, economical nd it should maintain the greenery of this beautiful city.
